Connecting rail, road and sea into one continuous transport chain.
Is it a fit
Worldwide
We combine our Eurasian rail and sea products with other world regions. Suitable connections, transshipments and door-to-door services open up more complex destinations; the transport chain is agreed per request.
Sea and land connections link Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Myanmar and other markets with our Eurasian core offer.
For Canada, the USA, Mexico and Brazil, we check the combination of ocean freight, our core network and suitable pre- and on-carriage.
Connections to and from Africa are planned individually with suitable sea and land links. Countries, gateways and scope are confirmed in the specific quotation.
Sample chains
A sea connection from Japan or South Korea can be combined with a suitable China–Europe rail product and European delivery. The right gateway, the handover to the train and aligned documents and departures are decisive.
A Eurasian pre-carriage can be combined via a suitable port gateway with an ocean connection to North or South America. We check whether this beats alternative sea routes for your shipment.
For complex destinations in Africa or South-East Asia we look at port access, onward transport and local handovers together. Beyond the main leg, accessibility, transshipments and the desired delivery window also shape the solution.
We look at total transit including connections, transport and handling costs, equipment and the agreed door-to-door scope. The examples show combinable concepts; specific gateways, transit times and departures are checked per route.

Routing
The corridor overview describes planning options. It is no guarantee that every route is available for every shipment at all times.
Process
Route, cargo, shipment size, date and required services form the basis. This reduces follow-up questions from the start.
You receive specific feedback on route, possible departure, transit time, included services and open points. For urgent shipments, tell us the latest delivery date so we can prioritise available alternatives.
After your confirmation we coordinate the agreed transport legs. Implementation depends on capacity, documents and the next usable departure.

A door-to-door concept connects the agreed pickup and delivery points via suitable main legs and connections. Which services, such as transshipment or customs, are included is defined in the individual quotation.
