Container Management

The right equipment for single shipments and continuous flows.

Sourcing or moving equipment

Is it a fit

Container management

Sourcing equipment

For short- and long-term leasing, purchase and sale, we match container sourcing to demand, period and route based on our market experience.

Moving containers

One-way use, repositioning and returns via available network connections. We also check short-notice deployments and recurring flows across Eurasia.

Building partnerships

We are looking for new partners, suppliers and customers for equipment and repositioning. Bring your demand or available containers; we look for matching combinations.

Models

Which model fits your demand?

  1. Staying flexible short-term

For single shipments, seasonal peaks or temporary demand we check short-term leasing and one-way use. With one-way, return is planned at another agreed location.

  2. Securing recurring volumes

For continuous flows we compare long-term leasing and purchase, looking at usage period, volume development, capital commitment and how later return or reuse is organised. A long-term solution should fit the overall transport concept.

  3. Matching stock with demand

Containers in the wrong place may be needed elsewhere. We check whether your equipment can be matched with suitable transport demand. Sale, sub-leasing or repositioning are agreed based on actual availability.

From provision to return

Before implementation we agree equipment condition, handover point, usage period and return conditions. The comparison also covers transport, depot services and possible costs outside the agreed use. Availability and terms are confirmed in the quotation.

Container collections via Bahnoperator are a pure pleasure. A competent team of people, willing to help and well organized.

Product questions

What is one-way use?

With one-way use, a container is picked up at one location and returned at another agreed location. Pickup point, return point and usage period have to fit together.
